The Brookhaven Board of Directors is seeking interested homeowners to fill a vacant position on the Board. This appointment will serve through the 2027 Annual Meeting, at which time the position will be filled through the normal election process.

Serving on the Board is a rewarding opportunity to become more involved in your community, represent your fellow homeowners, and help shape the future of Brookhaven. Board members work collaboratively to make decisions that support the Association’s financial health, maintain and enhance common areas and amenities, and preserve the quality and value of the community for all homeowners.

Why Serve on the Board?

As a Board member, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Represent the interests of your fellow homeowners.
  • Help establish priorities for community maintenance, improvements, and capital projects.
  • Participate in developing the Association’s budget and overseeing its financial stability.
  • Work with fellow Board members, committees, and the management company to address community concerns.
  • Gain a better understanding of how the Association operates and contribute to the long-term success of Brookhaven.

Board service is an excellent way to make a meaningful difference in your community while helping ensure thoughtful and responsible decision-making.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Be a homeowner in good standing with the Association.
  • Be willing to attend regular Board meetings and actively participate in Association business.
  • Complete the attached Board Nomination Form and submit it to Meredith Johnson Emerson at [email protected] no later than 4:30 p.m. on 8/10/2026.

Selection Process

Following the application deadline, the Board of Directors will review all submitted applications, interview candidates if deemed appropriate, and appoint the individual who will fill the vacant seat. Once a decision has been made, the Association will notify the community of the appointment.
